This is something folks do not wish to discuss because so many are just drinking the kool aid from 'Silly - Con - Valley'. Music collaboration which is crucial for music to be produced has been lost. With this A.I flood we re now in the 'generation' era. Oh well the dehumanization bonus is a wonderful thing for those interest. A great perspective Hugh

I disagree that there is differentiation to stand out. Quite the contrary, because music channels, curators, labels and listeners want categorical familiarity. The machine wants a predictive model to meet demographic targets to sell to. And I don’t mean only music sales. While there is more production in isolation, there is more sound alike results, using the same tools. Perhaps the music business is no longer a consumption business outside the major leagues, but one big gaming business with millions of music makers in personal studios (or soon AI on devices). Yes that sucks on a human level, but the desocialization is happening within every level of the digital onslaught. There will be a backlash. We need real.
